Default want some GT3 seats on my 951, has anyone done it??

Has anyone mounted some GT3 seats in their 951?? I'm talking about the ones that have the tall back with carbon fiber cover on the back or colored. I want to see if it will fit my 951 and also would like the seat to move front and back for driver position, could this be possible with these seats??
If someone has pictures with these seats on a 951 please post!!

do you have pics or now of someplace I can see this?? I think it would look great, and even better with the 4 point seatbelts installed.

PorscheDoc should chime in soon. He has them in his 951.

I have the old 996 GT3 seats in my car, the taller narrow looking seats are the 997 version. They should fit with some modified sliders no problem. The sliders will not just bolt on because the front seat bolt hole is angled at about 45 degrees instead of straight down into the floor.

These are pretty expensive seats. What about those knockoffs that you see around?

check www.stable-energies.com - they carry new ones and have good prices, although I'm afraid to think what shipping might be to Puerto Rico

Definitely wouldn't be going with "knock off" seats. It's something your life depends on...

Yea thats what I thought, "knockoffs" look good online, the price looks tempting, but I was afraid I'd regret not paying for the OEM ones. Iv'e seen some OEM's but they don't go for less than $2,500 for the pair, and I think thats a bit to much to spend on the seats.
what are other type of seats that look good on these cars? I like stockish designs, nothing with two tones or type R symbols etc. thats why I liked the gt3 seats, they are a porsche design and it would be like updating the car with porsche parts. and getting some good track seats at the same time.

I saw some gt3 replicas on ebay that were going for $1,650 plus shipping to PR that was $150-$175, would be like 1,850-1900 for the pair shippied here to PR but...these are replicas, not the real deal so don't know if it's worth it.
here they are:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...#ht_8128wt_806
