Just as it says. Is there any knowledge to anyone running this car without having to rebuild the engine? Who has the longest running car with the least amount of issues?

I know a guy with over 200k on a silver rose turbo S in New Hampshire or Maine (somewhere in Nor'easter Region).
Personally, I rebuilt mine at 110k because I had nothing better to do... it was still running strong and the internals showed only minimal wear.

If a headgasket and valve don't count cause of a t-belt break(just replaced the gasket and valves and reassembled it) I know of someone in PA. with well over 200k on it not sure to what it is cause the OD been broke. An 86 turbo.

My 86 951 went to 225K when it caught fire. I had replaced the engine with a used long block at about 135K. I think they told me that engine had about 99K on it when it went in, and it never had any subsequent engine work.
My 89 951 has about 140K on the original engine with a valve job by the PO.

When got my little project it had 204k and had not run for about 14 months. Got it going and drove for about a month to "see what I had". All worked except for A/C. Had oil in the coolant ( gasket on filter mount /cooler exchange) ,#2 tended to foul some ( valve guide seals) and oil in the intake tract (turbo bearing seal) but ran and pulled. On tear down crank was good for a std. bearing rebuild, no wear on the cam and no sludge in the engine. This car did come with good records and owners kept oil changed well. Pistons were reusable with coating but cyls. got sleeved. These will go a long ways for a turbo.
