Jap car tuner forum?
Does anyone have a link for a tuner car forum?
I don't know what the "technical term" is for it I guess, but You know the guys. They put a 92mm turbo on a 86 honda civic with custom headers and NOS, then street race them... technically.... lol
I don't really care for the style, but its all homemade. I'd like to see how they fab those cars up.

hondatech is a good one, HOWEVER, take any advice on there with caution... These are honda guys we're talking about...
The toyota guys that drift the AE86 corollas can be pretty smart, they have aeu86.org for a forum there, and they turbo those little things pretty well too.

I should also note that if you have a hot car, don't let anyone on there know where you live, 'cause they'll steal your ****. My brother's friend had been posting progress on his civic with a built up engine that had these really rare japanese individual throttle bodies and a bunch of stuff, and 2 weeks after he posted it was done, it was stolen and stripped.

Thanks for the help Barry.
I like how intuitive they are. They make some crazy power out of a high schoolers first car lol. Some of them appear to be really well built as well.

A friend of mine built a manifold for a 96 accord, that made over 600whp. The funny thing is, is that its purple, it has a black intercooler, stock steel wheels WITH hubcaps, and a hidden exhaust dump. The only way you can tell it has anything at all, is if you look through the stock-looking front bumper and see the intercooler, or notice the slicks on the front wheels, haha...
The car is insanely fast, and hasn't blown up (yet).

yeah actually he does. I bought my turbo, wastegate, and stuff from him.
However he did say he wont tune my car unless it has a standalone. That was the first thing he told me to invest in when i started this project.. Ofcourse I didnt listen and learned the hard way. That should change soon though

Here's some incar footage of a local S2000 that has over 500whp. On street tyres and this guy can drive just a bit. Looks very controllable though. How quick does it spool though???
