Convince me not to get rid of the 951...

Its not really about being done with travels / money. Its about having bikes forever (I bought my first sport bike..an Interceptor 750..in high school...and that was long before every kid rode a bike). Well, she had been OK with that. She was even OK with the bikes early on and let me trade the GSXR on a Hayabusa when they cam out (i have had the bike that long). However, a yound daughter (4) and a decent job has her thinking that I shouldn't ride the bike because of danger.
My rational is I only ride it a few days a year (and now not at all since I travel too much). Her arguement is if I dont ride it, i dont need to keep it.
The CTT seems like a nice choice...I like them....But I would probably buy the S. They are a better value all around. The Turbo is definately much more fun, but the value is with the S.

fast foward to today, I have the same problem you have. I have 2 944t's and a Ducati(944t's of the bike world). My bike is mildly built but very quick. I don't drive any of them because of work, life, etc.. That being said, I want a supermoto bike

Purely based on the facts presented, replace the 951 and bike with an all wheel drive something like a Cayenne, X5 or Volvo. With the time you are away and the age of your daughter, you want to get in and drive when you're home. Plenty of time later in life when circumstances change and she's older. I am guessing your relationship would benefit too. Just my experience, having got back into sports car maintenance instead of a bike, teaching my 15 year old son along the way.

Trust me, I totally understand. I have raced motorcross etc.. turned 16 and bought an FZR in 90'. I have had bikes forever. I was without a bike for 1 year(when I moved) and had to get another. When its in your blood, you can't stop.

Doesn't matter, I hate you. I'm going to drive to the "fest" and smash right into your car and that will take me down to just one 944t and a bike. just kidding but not really, but really.
Dana, be a man. Get the Cayanne S and another bike!

Back Seat, my kids love it (7 and 9, the 13 year old usually rides up front...)
The practical side of my says play the spread, sell the 951 and the bike, I'll give tree fiddy for both...
Get the wife something she is comfortable in and look for a new toy once you are back and can enjoy it..
