A friend owned a 944S in the same color-not as nice as speed yellow, but better than pastel yellow. There was one 968 ordered paint to sample in summer yellow as well.

Yeah...saw the 968 in the Excellence, I think it's a great color, better in person...wonder how many 951's were painted summer yellow?

I can see why the color is so rare....

All the yellow 944s I have seen look like they are faded and need a good buffing....but thats they way they looked new!

I like the Summer Yellow. I assume this is the same car I used to see driving around here occasionally. Sadly, it has seen better days. But I came across this yesterday (interestingly, the Grand Prix in the back ground is a super rare 1 of 8 Hurst Grand Prixs).



Sad thing is, I have almost everything needed to get this car back together in spares.
