Yes I'm interested in this also as long as the finished product looks oem finish/same plastic etc - nice project

No progress, but with the car almost back together, and CNC mill almost running, the snorkel will get bumped up on the priorities

modify it as such:


Widen the opening feed into the air box and it will not be such a bottle neck.

That would be great if it could be made to still look stock.

It would be a better design but If you retain the stock IC pipes then I dont think that this design would work.

If you split it in half where the pipe goes flat, and raise it just a little, you'll get more volume out of it.

I'm now interested in making a fiberglass unit. I have enough material. Heck, I oughta try this.

The custom 3" snorkel and the stock evase has about 10" water column or 0.4 psig pressure difference from the 2.5" stock unit at 500-600 cfm.

You get them made and they look relatively stock, I'm interested.
