I think I'm going to have to back out.
I went and did something stupid tonight (basically did donuts in a grassy field in town...in my truck). Well, the place that owns it is wanting to press criminal damage of property or something on me. So I better start saving my money now.
The best part? You can't even tell I did anything to the field, AND...the use it as a parking lot for all church events. So naturally, its a pretty rough piece of ground...yet they say I destroyed it. My truck basically drove in circles...it won't even do a donut lol
Oh well. Live and learn. Hope everyone has a good time. I plan to make it out one of these years...IN a 944!

Not only did you intentionally try to destroy someone elses property, then you attempt to belittle them for pressing charges; and even better you admit to having such a weak assed truck that it won't even do a doughnut.

On a seperate note, I'll probably meetup with the convoy off of 71 in Columbus. Let me know if anyone else from the area would like to join in too.
-This will be the 2nd time that my car has been to the 'fest, but the first time with me, and i am realllllllllly looking forward to it's FIRST EVER Dyno session!!!! (not expecting anything dramatic, but i would like to know where it stands)

Heya Guys! Sorry for waiting till page 6 to chime in. I'm really pleased to see Trav bringing her home to Nelson's, it seems like a great fit for what we do. In the last week I spent a lot of time getting glacier girl back in order, there was dust since last fest, but she is really coming around now. My track tires and pads are all burnt up and I can't justify the $$ for more, so I'm building it back toward street. I've added an outlaw muffler to hush my 4" while keeping the flow up, and I'm not sure if I'll even run the DE as the PCA has some new seat/belt rules. Stock belts feel so inadequite one you have lapped in 4 pointers or better. Anyway, I'm working with Trav behind the scenes, it seems my major roll will be composing a Gimmally to melt your brains Saturday afternoon. Of course I will have to transport beer, so the gimally might be my second major task.
Heads up..If you want DYNO time, sign up NOW. If we don't get at least 10 ish spots filled I don't think we'll get to see Toolman and the 09 shootout. I'm done spinning drums, the boost is backed off and the can of carnuba is coming out. While Skippy is coaxing you all to do the DE Sat/Sunday, I'll counter that the Fest activities are a once a year event, while DE tracktime is a every weekend if not daily availability. No hard feelings either way, but the Fest Gimmally winners will receive TWO trophies, each equal to the Grand Champion's unique piece.
Sorry I have not been on Renny much lately, but life calls to other priorities. I'm raising two very awesome little girls, and tonight I celebrated 14 years of wedded near-bliss with Kate.
Many things change, but I'm glad to see a lot stay the same.
