Default CPR's 951 Audio Galactica

Hey CPR, some pictures?! the headunit, the fibreglass in the hatch and the 18 or was it 17 speakers?. Also the doors with your components. The custom amp rack.

If you can't because it's secret, I understand.

Not too many secrets there, I just think he doesn't like sharing.... always makin parts for himself and what-not without spilling the beans...... or even trying to help a brother out now and then....

A system, secret?...lol.

READ the thread "Can we talk Nakamichi CD500?", post #14 :

"Sebas,
I will have my car back Thursday (I think) getting new 30mm T-Bars installed. I can take pics of the unit for you if you like. Also, the custom color option is sweeeet. It is not just picking from say...4 or 5 pre-set colors. The color pattern flows from one end of the spectrum to the other...you just stop it on the shade you prefer. It states somewhere that there are over 80 colors available between the start and finish points. I choose the exact match to my OEM dash lights. "

HA nice pics. And ive been meaning to ask you this, but why are you running THREE L7's? How much power are they getting? Over 2K watts? Im suprised you can even fit them in the hatch! how big is your box?

Why 3? I ran out of space for the 4th one and had already purchased 2 sets, so I decided to try and use as many as I could fit.

1500 watts @ 1ohm

Each is chambered @ 18"x12"x16" using a slot ported box. The center is L7parallel to the rear, the L & R L7's are on a 30degree angle to the rear to fit. This box will be coming out in a few weeks, or so and replaced with a new box to house just a pair of L7's. Other than the box being large, I am dropping to only two subs because...I thought i would never say this....it is tooooooo much. When you see your glass flexing a quater inch or so......

Ha really? 3 L7's being to much? I would have never of guessed.

How did you wire three drivers down to 1ohm? I thought L7's were DVC with each coil at 4ohms?

L7's are i available in either 2 or 4ohm DVC. It is a pretty easy configuration to wire to get to 1 ohm (well technically 1.3), but to clarify I have included a wiring diagram:
