BTDT - even after replacing TT bearings the tranny on my S2 has kept doing that noise.

The tranny on my turbo only has about 50k miles and is superbly quiet, however I hardly ever engine brake at slow speeds and low revs (town driving) in order to avoid unproductive strain on the bearings when slowing down.

Clutch in and rolling - no noise. Parked there is a very slight noise with the clutch out - in = no noise.
