Sorry I don't have any pics before install but, here is my new 930S wheel(thanks FASTRNU) and I went ahead and installed my new black center console. I also installed new black script rear seats(thanks Van!).

Here are some pics. I should be able to buy the new doors, and dash cap next week. I'm also going to buy that carbon fiber gauge cluster if its still for sale next week too(it looks soooo purrdy). I also still need to source a replacement cubby for underneath the radio(my old one got lost). So if anyone knows of one for sale please get intouch with me.

All in all I'd say my temp interior is coming along. Next two weeks will be second skin sound deading install and full black carpet install. Van also fixed my windshield washer problem, and has everything I need to replace the rear hatch automatic release. Car is slowing coming along.....

Nice. I like the split back seats. Is your dash cracked?

Oh and BTW I picked up that same console piece. It really cleans up the interior.

EDIT: I found this on Ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsc...Q5fAccessories

Yes dash has tons of cracks. Thats why I have to buy a cap. All of this is temporary. Sometime next year im hoping to have my entire interior done my 928leather.

I love that 968 coin tray. Here is a link to the rubber insert that covers the screws: http://www.944online.com/cgi-bin/ASI...kukey_20052082

So, it's about $65 total for the tray and rubber insert, and I thought to myself, boy that's pretty cheap. And then I realized that I'm completely crazy for thinking that's reasonable for a small piece of plastic and a little rubber mat. I think I'm still going to buy them though.

I love that dash that you picked up from MPD47. The look of alcantara really modernizes the interior!

Several things came in today.

Rear hatch shocks, rear lock seal, two window switches, sunroof switch, radio console, new switch panel, etc.

I've installed everything unfortunately my passenger side window and sunroof still dont work! I checked the fuses and they look fine and since all the switches are new I know thats not it. How do I tell if they relay has gone bad or not?

*update*

Car is at XL glass getting ripped apart. The old windshield was never installed properly and the leaking was getting to be more than I could bare(especially not with new interior going in this week). I wish I could show you guys the car its crazy. He had to take a grinder to it to get all the rust off. He's treating it and then priming it overnight. Tomorrow in go's the new seal and everything should be GTG.

About $420.00 in parts and labor which I think is pretty fair. This damn car was so rigged it was crazy. I'm so glad to finally be getting rid of these fixes that weren't performed properly.

Also does anyone know what book labor charge is on a dash removal/install?

The dash looks amazing. Overall I'm very impressed with your project to build a perfect street car.
Very few people do that. Keep it up
