There's nothing visually that would make me think that the seat is not structurally sound.
But I don't know a thing about carbon fiber or kevlar. And with a date stamp so prominent I wanted to ask the question to those of you that might know.
I'm going to run it. The POC says 6 years then a seat back brace. The seat is dated 02/2005. That means that there quite a bit of life left.

I run seat brace no matter the seat. Just does not make sense to me to go without. They are cheap and easy safety gear, arm restraints too for that matter.

I'd be running it too. 2011 is plenty of time in reserve as far as I'm concerned.
What's the seat brace you're talking about? Something behind the seat in case of a 'back in' ?
