Default Questions about LR Intercooler Pipes

I was wondering if there is any noticeable benefit to getting the LR pipes over the stock ones. Is there better flow since it a straight thru pipe from the turbo to IC, and there is no dent on the one from IC to throttle body?

I would imagine they provide better flow due to the straight through piping, however i did not notice anything when i put them on my car. One of the advantages is you can avoid having the couplers blowing off due to weak clamps as the silicone couplers provided allow you to use a heavier duty clamp. The same thing can be achieved using silicone couplers and the stock pipes however.

Right now I have the silicone couplers with the stock pipes, and it works fine, just wanted to see if there is a significant difference since the price for the LR pipes is so high, I guess there really isn't to justify the price difference...good deal on Ebay:
