While changing my 944 door handles to 968’s I lost a small spring.
This is not the larger spring between the lever and the handle but it under the screw at the end of the lock cylinder. I can’t find a part number in PET except for the whole lock for $466. Does anyone have the part # or the spring or an old handle they can sell me.

Sunset porsche puts these kits together. Ask them for the part number. I know which one you're talking about. It is the spring that levels the lock cylinder after you turn the key up/down.

 

if that doesn't work, go to a salvage yard and jack one from an old VW rabbit or jetta...like 1970s-80s VW.
