Powered by MEGASQUIRT (one of the poor decisions of my youth! I wasted so much time soldering that entire board together because I was too broke to afford a pre-assembled on ...or even a used Motronic for that matter)

Not an engine pic but...

[QUOTE=DDP;6355211]I realize Dave (evil 944t) is probably afraid to post in the possibility of being banned for marketing his products but he has the cleanest engine bay I've seen to date. And that's saying a lot because there are a lot of nice ones on here. No doubt.

Dave, post one up. Do it. Do it.QUOTE]

If you show your engine pics who knows what complaints you might get for advertising your wares. Pity.

Im Just taking a five minute break to look for some inspiration on this thread, hopefully mine will look as nice as the other engine bays previously posted when im finished...

I was thinking about using this nice v6, but it wasn't for sale. Just kidding. Took a lot of pictures at the new Museum yesterday. Nice side trip if get a chance. One of everything we have ever drooled over.

The heads are satisfactory, compared to modern stuff, the turbos, however, are not. They are KKK27.
I would remove them and deposit in the dumpster.

That said, Nikki is a certainly a champion to make that comeback in '84 (against the most difficult opponent - his wife), using this mediocre engine, and win the championship.

I keep the model not for the engine, but for the driver.

After looking at all these beautiful engines, I think I will paint my cam tower while I have it off. Are you guys using any special primer for the aluminum, or just applying the high heat paint to the clean and degreased surfaces?

Special,
Took pictures of all the engine exibits but if I posted a 908 or 917 I'd look extra stupid for a 951 install. Only engines not on display were 928 and 944 variants. There was an intresting looking compact V10 I could not place and missed the placard on.

This one is a little out of date, but I still like it. Some great looking engines out there!
