With the start of the 3.L Registry thread that Tom created, it prompted me to think if everyone would be keen on having some customized t-shirts made. My initial thoughts were to have these made up for people who currently have 3.0L cars, ones being built, guys with oversized, or anyone who want to purchase the shirts. No one is excluded, but the theme would center around people with 3.0Ls or oversized. I don't know what the design would be, the verbiage, the cost, who would make them, or anything as of yet. This purpose of this thread is to get a gauge of what the community thinks, and then to possibly create a poll on this so everyone could vote. If this did come to fruition, we would need the help of several people from all aspects, from production to handling orders. That all being said, I would appreciate it if everyone would post suggestions, ideas and thoughts to get some dialogue going on this. Then we could look into the feasibility of doing this venture. Please share your thoughts...


Edit: If you guys just want to look into 951 Rennlist shirts for now, we can do that instead. We need to get enough interest on this, or I'm sure we can't get the discounts we would probably need. It's up to you guys...

 

i'd definetly buy (another) 951-type shirt! I'm not a 3.0L guy, so no input there.. sorry!

Im in. Im looking at buying into a small local clothing label, some people I know have been establishing the last few years. Getting shirts printed up should be pretty easy, and maybe get a great deal. Let me know how I can help. I guess the big question would be, who can come up with a design, and if there is a worthwhile demand I guess. Even if no demand, Id like one.

 

So now we just need some graphics ideas. Something t-shirt worthy -- let's see those suggestions!

 

I could possibly have one of the artists from the label, put something together, they are pros, and would want some kind of compensation most likely tho. Just a thought.
