Default exhaust leaks around wastegate - advice?

So, I put the car up on stands to take care of a little rattle from the new 3" exhaust (against the A arm mount - engine mounts seem fine so I'm just going to flatten a little spot). While I was checking things out I found a couple little exhaust leaks - at both ends of the pipe from the crossover to the wastgate.

I'm running a TiAL 46mm wastegate w/no gaskets on the flanges - car didn't come with any and I've read here some run without, so have just been letting it be becasue I thought things were tight. Do any of you guys run gaskets and if so where can I get them?

On the flange at the end that connects to the crossover, I'm thinking I'll just run to Napa and get some exhaust goop to smear on/around the donut/flange ... good/bad idea?

BTW, thought I posted this earlier but can't find it now so my apologies if this is a re-post.

I use a 46mm Tial, and it does have gaskets. They are not super easy to find on the internet. I'll see if I can find where I last got a set. Can't imagine it sealing well without the gaskets. Even with the gaskets, I have to be careful assembling it to avoid carbon traces sneaking out.

You the man, Tom!!! Thanks a bunch!

Yea ... I was never too sure about not having gaskets. Hopefully this will help with the boost bleed off ...

Try to find the metal gaskets. They are much nicer but if you can't get them, the fiber ones work ok.

I would email them if you have time. I just tried a quick google and just found the fiber ones.

I tried getting them from Tial, but didn't have much luck. I probably just needed to be more persistent.

Try Tim at SFR, I'm sure he can get them for you along with maybe some new crush rings for the cross over/WG section.

Just a heads up for posterity. I ordered the gaskets from the link Tom provided (thanks again Tom) and it turns out they are indeed metal gaskets! Not copper - stainless maybe(?), but they look like they will do the job nicely.

Oh, and a couple pics since I rinsed off the car yesterday and nice weather forced me to drive it today.

I'm glad you posted that. I realized that recently when I came across a spare set I had ordered. I guess they are using an old picture.
