Default whats been cooking...

I had a couple of requests for some updates on projects...
So here are some pics...I'll let you guys ask the questions!

I will be out of touch all day tomorrow so I will get back on line tomorrow night.

If you look close you may find some neat things going on.

standalone, drysump, big turbo w/ piping, maybe brake upgrades, new pistons/rods, and maybe a speaker upgrade (large wire harness with lots of relays?), custom crossmember (??)....maybe an RC car?

oh, are you going to put 3 engines into one car?

So that's your "street" 951? WOW
Nice work on the leather wrapped cage.
Looks like it moved out into the snow under it's own power..
..which would make that a customer's engine?
Is the scale model for Gabe's experiments w/ the 951 GTR?

Seb, it sure is much easier to work on an engine that's on an engine stand!
PS: glad you found a MAFterburner without having to wait for mine to come up for sale. I'm curious how good a deal you managed to find? (if you don't mind me asking? PM me)

The first one looks like a mold for a 951 R/C car body....

Do you have any more pictures of the cage setup? I assume its welded in somewhere, right?

Also, from the looks of that crossover pipe, it looks like you won't be using stock headers - any pictures of what you will be using?

Lots of fun going on there. That car looks extremely clean! Nicest 951 in that color I've ever seen.

Actually I have to admit that is really nice looking. Love the cage too. Very tasty!

I hope that is an rc body. I wanted to buy an rc car not too long ago, I decided not too because 951 bodies apparently dont exist, just about every other kind of car you could imagine tho.

Looking good Chris!
What's the story behind the crossmember?
Where's the dry sump tank being placed in the car?
Any reason for keeping the pan that deep when converting to dry sump, seems it could be made much more shallow?
