Well, congrats Rob. I have to be honest though. I personally don't think it's a great idea to have Rob as a moderator. I like Rob. Anything I have to say I won't say behind his back cause I respect him.
It peaves me everytime we start a conversation and the minute it goes off topic the slightest bit, Rob likes to try to correct it and say get back on topic. It actually peaves the **** out of me and I'm not the only one. I'm just the only one who has the guts to come out and say it. The reason I'm saying this Rob is because I do like you and really look forward to getting together with you when you come out to Vegas and finally meet.
The other thing is I think you are way too passionate of a guy to moderate. Some of the posts you have posted in the past have really been over opinionated and have been rough on people. I myself want this forum to go on as it has. For example, I don't want someone to be banned for....lets say....talking **** about Chris White. I'm using him because I can't see why anyone would talk **** about him. I'm just afraid people will now have to hold their own CONSTRUCTIVE criticism if it goes against what you think. I truly hope that doesn't happen and I don't want to always stay on topic. If that were the case, then I wouldn't like all of you so much. The funny cracks some of you guys have during a thread. Or how a thread could lead into the opportunity to ask another question and then go back on topic of it's own. It doesn't need to be reprimanded or guided to stay on topic. That's what makes this forum so much fun. I for one will stop coming if it we are madated to "stay on topic" more, or if some people's justified opinions get them banned.
