Just like Jeremy I purchase parts from both SRF, Lindsey, Vitesse and others so I am happy we have the selection to choose from. The vast majority of purchases go very smoothly but some run into problems. I believe you work out the occasional problems out of the public eye.

Just my personal experience. I had a car in a shop to be corner balance and inspected and the report was not good. The little spot on the floor I found just before I dove it up there was the water pump and they found a crack in a header pipe. Over $1000 to replace one pipe from the factory. I needed to get the car running in a week.

I called Tim and asked if he could help me out. He ordered the steel, fabricated the header and shipped it in less three working days. I had called him on Friday and my shop had the part on Wednesday. I know he doesn't like to work this way but he helped me out in a jam..so thanks Tim.

The story that ive heard is that he built a motor for someone, left out the rear main seal, then refused to do anything about it and denied it.

lol. Many stories out there. I think I may have owned (a few years ago) the very last Anderson motor that was running (I may be wrong but as far as I know), and that one didn't last very long.

I'd like to add I just recently called and spoke with dave and ordered some parts from him. He overnighted them without delay and was/is always a pleasure to deal with.

I think we have some really great vendors in this arena. SFR,Vitesse, Lindsey, Pelican, Fabspeed, etc. I've order parts from all of them over the years and really have yet to be disapointed with a part/product.

I will say I think lindsey and pelican have two of the widest ranges in parts available for our cars and both of them are great to deal with.
