Looking good Van, glad to see it's coming into shape.

Just curious, were you able to find the silver rose paint online or will your body shop person mix the paint my hand?

I'll be curious to see how your paint turns out, I'd like to re-spray my car this summer and would like to find someone others have used that did a good job.

My body guy has the paint code and has taken the gas door to have it color matched. He doesn't think it'll be exact, but thinks the match should be pretty good. He's also going to prime it in white (like the factory did) - a darker primer might show through the paint a little and make the color a little darker.

Hopefully I'll have the answer in a few days!

Looks like I'll pick the car up this saturday - all the removable pieces (hood, bumpers, etc. are still being painted).

Do you know the weight saving with the sunroof delete? How heavy is the original roof including the sunroof?

About 15 lbs - including drive mechanism, cable, sunroof panel, latches, hardware, relay and switch.

So, in keeping with the theme of this thread, here's a picture of the final roof "product". I'm very happy with the way it turned out. I glued a maroon piece of vinyl to the bottom side, and it looks pretty decent.
