Our Central FL 944 meet is probably going to be the last weekend of March. So personally I wouldnt mind this meet being in April, especially in NC! It would also give me an oppertunity to contact all of the guys from our local meet about this east coast meet, and see if anyone is interested in a caravan.

I am down for DC area, VIR or VA Beach would be close to the middle of the east coast in terms of NE and SE drive.

After a brief IM with Elliot, I'll be putting together a caravan over from the Tampa area for the CFL GTG. PM/IM if interested and we can exchange contact info for the meet/drive over. I'll make another post closer to the date with general meet up locations.

Generally speaking... does anyone have or have suggestions about portable CB units? My experience with the FRS radios is - they suck. I'm thinking they would be good for the lead and tail cars on the drive. Bad communication was a pita last time - we almost didn't get to EAT! Talk about making a fat kid (me) nervous!

Very southern Virginia, or Northern N.C. would be best for Florida guys. I don't know about April though. April and May are terrible for me. Elliott, Send me info on the C.Fl. GTG once you know what's up. I keep up with the thread as well.
