Don't forget the gts racing style conversions.

please don't suggest puting HID"s in a non-HID reflector housing.

I'm with Billthe3. Those are the best. Just make sure to get the HID's. At least for me anyway.

HID bulbs in non-HID housings cause tons of glare that blinds oncoming drivers and can lead to even less light output on the road.

If you want to do HID's right and put them in the foglight housings then you can retrofit some projectors in there. I believe MPD47 (??spelling??) has some Hella Micro DE's in his that he uses as driving lights as he's got a lindsey header panel.

This is about the cheapest mod going and actually works quite well (https://rennlist.com/forums/944-turb...cheap-mod.html). This is how I have mine setup. I have never had any problems, at least not yet. Allowed me to get rid of the motor, bars, headlights etc.

so you want nothing up top, gotcha. but you dont have fog lights... rally inspired 6" hellas mounted to the header panel and roof? you need at least 6 of them.

+951. MPD47 has a thread about replacing the fogs with the Hella HID projector lenses.

That way to do it is use the european driving lights (link above to paragon), then go to a solid header panel that deletes the headlight covers into one unit. Then you can remove all the headlight stuff up top. Unfortunately it is still a $800+ venture to do it this way by the time you buy the euro lights, header panel, and paint. It is on my list to do, but probably won't happen this year as a few other projects are taking priority.

I removed the pop up lights system and used the euro lights with a 55 & 100 watts combinations, check the car at night.
