Default Stupid cam question...

When looking at the cam thru the lifter bores, it appears as though the lobes are slightly aft (maybe 1/8") of the hole center. Anyone know if this is normal?

The shop-cat brought this to my attention, so if he's wrong his *** is sleeping outside tonight.

Makes sense. When I slipped fingers in, it was hard to tell if the cam journals are centered in the bearing bores. Its the first time I've looked at porsche lobes, and I didn't think about it before I disassembled it.
