My friend got one when they first came out while I was back in dallas. It was a quick car for sure. Now a maf/mbc/16psi 951 is still gonna eat it up top. If you got full exhaust or a turbo upgrade he'll just be seeing your tail lights THAT much sooner.
The g35 however is really quite slow. Even with the premium package on their best day is mid 14's. A completely bone stock 951 would be a good race. You have a k27 and other goodies.
You race your neighbor and its going to = RAPE.

a long time ago while I was in my simulator a black 350zx with California license plates "PSI2RUN" came along my side it was driven by a also black youngman, keep in mind that this is a HQ simulator. Well, we did 2 runs up to 140mph, at the end the simulated black driver looked at me with his face full of dispair, his car was indeed a turbo charged 350zx with 400rwhp.

Even with 400WHP G35, you would be hard pressed to beat a 300WHP 951! But we can make 750WHP pretty easily out of the
VQ35 V-6 engine...............and this kind of power will make you crap in your panties!

On a roll, my 951 will pull the Z06...stop light to stop light a different story. The vette has an intake, cold air box, Borla exhaust, short shifter, upgraded rotors/wheels/and tires - def not a family sedan.

My buddies Nissan Maxima stayed toe to toe with a G35. My N/a was only behind it by a few car lengths, and it wasnt pulling very quickly on the N/a 944.
