In the extremely rare event that someone has some they want to sell.

Alpine White preferred, although it doesn't really matter.

Not really interested in the handles unless it's a really sweet price.

Or call Sunset Imports and buy brand new factory originals for around $330.00.

That was actually the first place I looked. I searched "968 mirrors," quickly refined by "968 mirrors -wheels -rims" because if a man ever wanted some chrome Rimz eBay would be the hot ticket geez. I found nothing but at that much I think I will search elsewhere.

Thanks for the heads up on $330...just over $400 was the best I had found for new ones so far.

I am still interested in buying some used ones if they can be had for less than that, however.

I doubt you'll find used ones for less than that. I've seen people pay stupid money for used ones on ebay when they can be had from sunset for much less.

Regards,
+1 I bought mine a few months ago. Electric mirrors with all required parts and the price is amazing compared to these other places. As a hint, make sure you but the correct sized pin extractor. It will save you quite the hassle of trying to find wiring connectors.

What's the link to Sunset? I keep coming up with what looks like a dealership and it looks like you have to email them for prices on parts/cars. What am I missing here? Do they have an online pricelist?

Yes, it is a dealership in Oregon. They do not really have an online store. You need to call them.

Its funny, brand new from sunset $330,
but people pay $400 used on ebay.....

I got mine from them also and the kit is complete all the way down to new connector pins. I really like doing biz with Sunset for OE parts for price and service.

I think it's time for an extra X-Mas present to me. I wrapped up a Beretta .40 model 90-two the other day - from my lovely wife to me.

Update, I found an alpine white driver's side one. I didn't buy it (although I considered it. I mean I would get most of the enjoyment of looking at it, for half the price.) but if I can find someone who for whatever reason has only a passenger's side mirror I could make myself a set.
