Someone has a white car with the fenders "flared" to fit huge rear wheels.

There's a picture of the car sitting on a driveway and I remember it being all factory metal and paint. I just can't find it.

Yes... I know the pictures. But you don't need to go wide like that for 315's if you have the correct offset wheel. Going wide like that pic if what you need to do to get a 335 under the rear.

You'd be talking about Chris White's car I believe. Very nicely done IMO. Not sure how much it would cost to have a shop do this but I'd be guessing not cheap?

Any chance you would want to rent this tool out?

Well, wasn't that picture, that's for sure. Was from the front 3/4 like Kevin's avatar right above my post. Could be the same car but I can't tell from that picture.

You are correct, although your pics would be good to see, just for others in the future.

Couldn't be too many white 951s with flared metal fenders and wider tires could there?

I can't believe those wheels didn't sell. Have you tried the 911 boards?

yep. They're up for three more days, then I'll have to cut my losses. Ya think a 295/30/18 will fit on your BBS rear wheels?

Yes. I would probably run a 6mm spacer to push them out a bit, but I've ran 295's in the past with the same 65mm offset. I plan to run 295's on my new 10" wheels.

996 turbo factory wheels require spacers on an early offset car. I'm running 15mm rear and 1 inch front spacers.

In most cases information is free for you Kool, but in this case it's gonna cost you the J-pipe you are trying to unload.
