Default Info on synapse synchronic wastegate

Looking for info on the synapse synchronic wastegate. Always see it for sale on SFR's website, did some research on it but couldn't find a whole lot. Just wondering what the advantages/disadvantages are over the conventional diaphragm wastegate. Also, is there any fab needed to tie it in with the crossover pipe? I know it's new tech so there might not be a whole lot of info or experience out there involving this WG but any input here is appreciated.

well the only difference i can see with a piston compared to a diaphragm is the piston seal could wear.
yes it will need fabrication to tie in . i don't think any waste gate is that much better than a dual port LR to justify the extra work of installation

I'm using the SFR offered Synapse unit. There is no extra Fab. needed. super simple, Great directions. Also there is a forum are on the Synapse web site. Lots of info to found there. I've only used the WG for a few hundred miles, no hickups. single hose operation. Even nicer in person, Lots of good work done there.

I've had mine for a while now and its been great! The ability to tune it and the idea of no rubber seals are some big pluses in my book. Also, by using certain ports you can use it without and mbc.
