I still have the stock crossover, so I went with a Laust special EGT, mounts directly into the stock HO test point right below the WG... Why not add teh bungs but keep them plugged, would keep from having to remove the header if at a point in the future you decide to go stand alone.. You would just have to add the other 3 sensors...

you can see mine in the background, when I go bigger, I'm gonna have EGT bungs put into the primary tubes, but for now this is working out well for me (idle EGT I'm seeing 850+/- and as high as 1490 WOT extended run 1-2-3-4-run out of road)..

I love this thread BTW... I need to start picking up pieces soon...

I am going standalone I just won't be sequential. the car will be a street car so it really isn't necessary. I was talking with some well known tuners and learned that the inner two cylinders are usually the hottest but not by more than 50 deg usually.

My EMS will be a TecGT system.

Thanks for the complement! If I end up in Baltimore, MD, we should organize a GTG for that area.

but can be so much fun... and really isn't that much more work for the additional insurance of being able to fine tune each cylinder... might be able to keep the big bore stroker running better longer... but that is just my opinion...

I cannot wait to see the end product come together....makes me all giddy like a school girl...

Haha, yeah...I'm not all that well versed in engine management yet so the less I have to mess with, the better the outlook for my engine! I'm definitely going to be using my customer support!

My plan is to leave it as is. Don't care to match it to the body. Altho it would probably be best to have it tinted while off the car...good idea!

Please move that hatch. It makes me nervous just sitting there, like that.

That is a pic snapped by the seller. And it will be safe and sound on my car as soon as I get home

P.S. Ehall, still want my Stg 1 headers?

Rather get info on the employment needs of your company, but yeah, send me the info via email or pm.

I'm amongst a group of well qualified, other warriors, with the desire and ability to provide significant security services for your employer.

Check out www.aaicorp.com and see if there's anything they can do for you. We don't hire for security, mainly the deployment of our own UAS systems, but give it a look. Or try Insitu, but keep in mind this is all UAV stuff.

I'll shoot you a PM on the headers.
