Battery not staying charged is not a big deal but it can be a PITA to find the source of the drain.
Oil leak could be anything from the oil feed/drain/AOS seals/oil pan gasket etc
ABS light again is no big deal, but you want to find out why it is on
Make sure it wasn't in an accident.
How does it run? Any smoke? Oil pressure on startup and warm idle? How does the coolant look? Is it stock? If not, make sure the mods were installed properly and there is no hacked up wiring. That will haunt you forever!

Yes it runs, it smokes from the oil leak by the turbo, didn't look at the coolant, stock. I think oil pressure was 4 bar when cold, 3 when warm? Im not 100% though
There is also an exhaust leak somewhere I didn't mention. I heard this is a PITA to fix

The front bumper is exactly how the driver side door and rear quarter panel look too. I have a detailing stuff (Porter cable polisher) and I think I could probably make it shine.
As for repairs, this obviously isn't a car thats ready to be driven. I know I would be fixing all of these issues

I seem to remember a few of your posts talking about the mileage you were able to put on the n/a. Easy to work on etc.
Buying a 944 turbo for 3 grand is pretty dangerous if you don't know what you are doing. If you are really mechanically inclined and know these cars i'd say do it but, you could spend several grand just in parts making everything cherry. What about belts, water pump, etc? What do the records show? A oil leak could be from the turbo. Is their oil in the intercooler pipes?
These cars are very expensive unless you really know how to completely work on it yourself. Even then like I said you could easily spend the purchase price of the car in belts, rollers, water pump, clutch, leaky turbo, fixing various issues, etc.
So if you've got 6-7 grand and you are spending 3500.00 on the car i'd say go for it. If 3500.00 is really about you're max then i'd wait until you have more funds or feel confident in the car and you're being able to work on it. For just a few grand more you could have a well sorted 951 with recent maintance history.
If this was going to be you're DD I wouldn't even entertain the thought but, since you said this is you're toy i'd give it some thought. There is a huge difference in price/maintance when going from n/a to a turbo model 944.

If you don't work on your own vehicles don't buy it..... Good 2nd car (weekend car) Even if you do it yourself a TB, front seals, tensioner, WP, oil pan gasket could cost you over 600 to fix because your bound to find a couple other cool things to fix such as P/S leaks, motor mounts, sway bar bushings, and oil cooler lines.

$3500 is not my budget, I plan to dump a few grand into it immediately after getting it to ensure its up and running properly.
"For just a few grand more you could have a well sorted 951 with recent maintance history." - I havent found anything that is well sorted with recent maintence for under $7000, especially in the northwest. If you come across one please send me a PM, it would be greatly appreciated!
