Evil is right. I'm going to have to let these go to the guy who called them after me. I'm looking at an inexpensive set, with rubber for much cheaper.

John, Hows the 295 fit on a 10". Does it bulge out? I always thought a 295 fit a 10.5"+ rim better than a 10". The 10's" to be good 285 tire sized rim.

On my 89'S, I have 8.5" wheels and they fit 255's without drama. Thats with mo30 suspension.

Other wise, Ehall.. John has good offsets ^^^^^

A 10"+ wheel on a late offset car needs an ET in the 50's, 55-60et'ish. It depends on the center pad on the rim ie, how thick it is and what the "zero" measuring point is. Each rim's pad can be different, thicker or thinner and thats the starting point for measuring the offset.

Trust me, When I finally realized my 4+" outer rim lip idea wasn't going to happen, I almost shead a tear BUT, I quickly realized I'm a man and went to the fridge and drank 10 beers.

You'll get over it.

It's not so much me as it is that there was some typical RL drama that occurred with another interested buyer, that leaves the seller in a ****ty position. I feel obligated to try to make this work if there is ANY conceivable way.

I have a line on 18x8 et50 and 18x10 et 65's, with no rubber, and I believe another set with, but I really need to try to make this work out, if there is any way.

88' non S. Altough you will have to forgive me. I'm still running the previous owners suspension and I have yet to really look/change it after all these years.

I know i've got 968 control arms? I don't know what other pieces from a 968 suspension I might have or how that may change my situation vs yours. The torison bar was also upgraded, bushings, springs, shocks, etc. I'd have to pull out all the paper work to see.

Up on the lift you can clearly see 968 part numbers. Unfortunately my car is still in NC. If it was here i'd run out look underneath and tell ya.

I don't know if its got m030 suspenion or not. How does one tell? and would that make a difference in my these wheels/tires fit my car fine?

I was just making sure you didn't have an 86, early offset car.

Well, I made a comittment to a lister to buy these wheels. He probably lost another sale, as a result of that. I should have been more thorough in my research before hand, but I wasn't. So I'm going through with buying these wheels. If I can't make them work, they will be back up for sale shortly. Here are some pics.

They are going to get the chance to look great on my car. They may not stay long, but they will get their chance! They are a silvery blackish color. Not really anthracite and not silver.

Perhaps you could have the hub on the back wheel machined 5mm to 7mm?
