BOTH. They are not mutually exclusive! If you hit one, you get the other. If you strike out with one, you get the other.

OK back on topic .
sometimes I sit on my hand until it goes numb so it feels like some one else is doing it but i generally prefer to get someone else to polish my tip.

Lemme guess, the "rubbing compound" is warm and slippery. MMMM HMMMMM... Are you using this hand?>>> If you go blind you'll be doing this.>>>

Damn, I walked right into that glass door full speed ahead, and deserve what i got.

instead of polishing my tip i drove the turbo into a kamikazee civic instead. at least i drove away, her left front tire went off the rim, her right front wheel is canted a good 20deg, looks like a control arm went, part of her right fender is imbedded in my front bumper.

oh what fun.

You can get polished stainless tips in just about any diameter at www.summitracing.com

http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...=KeywordSearch

The weld-on versions will never come off, but they also have clamp-on version that can be installed by anyone with a hack saw and a screwdriver.

I forgot about that, but thanks for the good humor. It really was a suicidal set up of a thread.

Seriously, buy a great tip from SFR or LR, and be done with it.
