Default help: one turn signal blinks faster than the other

I did this one day during the summer then stopped. It is now doing it all the time. It is usually a light out but I can't find any lights that are out. What could be the cause for the left turn signal to blink faster than the right.
thanks

Mine did that a month or so ago, I took out the blinker bulbs and cleaned the contacts on the bulb and the socket with cleaner and it works great again. It might be something as simple as that.

This will also occurs if you connect the (+) and (-) wires to the wrong lead on the blinker housing.

I had an issue with mine as well, ended up pulling the wiring to the left ft bumper mounted light and cleaning them, it's never been an issue since.

This will also happen if you have the wrong bulbs installed in the rear light assembly. Apparently, not all the 12V bulbs draw the same current, which will cause the relays to cycle faster. Be sure to match the bulb P/Ns to what was in the car originally.
