Default MD/VA/PA area listers, took a job in Baltimore. Whos there?

Hey guys,

Landed a job that will probably have me living in the Hunt Valley area north of Baltimore. Who's all out there? I'd like to meet up with everyone! I'll be there starting Jan. 5th. Anyone interested?

How did you find your way to Maryland? Trying to get as far away from 29 stumps as possible?

Nope, used my military experience to land a job flying the RQ-7B UAV with AAI and they're based out of Hunt Valley.

I've seen the TALS (Tactical automated landing system) grease it in like there was no wind with a straight 25kt cross. It's good! Anything over 30 is out of our limits tho.

You should see it in person. Bitch comes in crabbin' HARD! About 3ft off the ground it'll let out of the yaw and point the nose down the runway, when it touches down, it cuts to idle, coasts into the gear, shuts off the engine and payload, then we call it a day. Oh and it does all that by itself. All I do is hit the "autoland" button...

I work downtown. Live not far from there. Send me a PM when you get here.

When are you moving?

You must be pretty small to be able to fit in a UAV!

Baltimore is a great town. I used to live in Northern VA, and went up there pretty often. The Inner Harbor is a great place to hang out. Real locals might have better ideas for you, though.
