Looks like a bunch of fun guys. I think Wes likes his cars tailhappy
Great to see the 951 get past you guys in your Beasties.

Bruce, the first part of your video on the bank was hilarious with the shakes. I felt like I was the world's fastest Indian! I heard about hard drive video cameras not liking motorsports so I bought the older mini video tape versions, but I think there are better than mine. You get a 'lipstick' camera and that connects to a recorder sitting inside the car in a more insulated place (I believe). Apparently not too expensive either. I imagine your car has a lot of vibration as compared to a stock type car so you may have to change the mount?

Be sure to post pics in our section. I'm dying to see the car.

Any update on the 44'?

Guns I HAVE to see your Blackbird. Did you sell the 944 GTR to RufAutoCentre in Dallas? I saw a mint Gulf livery 951 in CJ's garage at Cresson.

West I need to pick your brain on my 951. After I fix the perpetual oil pan leak it will be doing 99% of my track duty again. Well set-up 951's can run with 99% of the cars out at the Texas tracks

Eclou,
Came by but did not see any of you guys, even asked around for you guys. What was the number on your cars? Stayed around for about 2 hours, bought some of that good stuff for the car and a good ride back to Houston.

Well as usual I am the slow one in the group. Bruce it was fun meeting you and seeing your car. I hope you get it sorted for December. I am in high hopes of getting my exhaust leak sorted. I am tired of sounding like an over loud metronome.

I was there but unfortunately did not get much of a chance to socialize. I did meet Biggles briefly while waiting on the grid. Eclou, I saw your car with the "speed triangles" on it, but didn't make the connection with your sig pic. Bruce, I think I chatted with a friend of yours for a bit... and it must've been your header panel I saw toward the end of the front straight. I had my wife and 1 year old son with me, so when I wasn't messing with the car between sessions I was generally helping her with the baby wrangling.

I'm very satisfied with the way the event went for me and the car. Saturday morning I was told (and could smell) fuel was spilling out the filler cap in left turns... a trip to Autozone for a new gas cap took care of that. Otherwise the newly completed car ran great and was a blast to drive. Here's a pic of me leaving the grid to go on track... because my wife was busy with my boy (who is VERY wiggly these days) she wasn't able to get many decent shots.

I started the weekend in Blue (with an instructor - Kerry - who was terrific) and was moved to solo in Yellow on Sun. It was great getting back on track after a long time away (8yrs). Next time I'll do a better job of meeting everyone.

Bob, are you the guy I talked to about your Enkei wheels at the end of the day Sunday? If so, I'm sorry I didn't properly introduce myself. I spent some of the ride home imagining what a set of those wheels would look like on my 951. I thought your car looked great.

I was there Saturday between 2:30 - 4:30. Did talk to a few other 951 guys, actually that's how I met Kevin. Was your group number 500? Next time!

My car number was 500.
I wasn't going to go to the next event. I was going to go to a Motorsport event, but I will probably go to the Porsche event now. Loved it.

Hey if someone has pics of their car with the Enkeis on, can you post pics? I'm getting a set for my car but would like to see them anyway.
