yep...but it does work good in higher mileage cars. It is "for" diesels becuase of the very good cleaning detergants and additives needed for dirty diesel motors. But as I said...IMO...it is simply the ticket in higher mileage cars. Your internals would be immaculate after 3 changes

You know.... I never thought about that but now that you point that out that's a very good idea! I was about to switch the porsche over to amsoil(bought enough filters and oil to last me a few changes already) but I might run a change or two of rotella through there to really scrub her up first.

Its jammed up in there, because when it falls, the heater blows on full hot. There is a little plastic clip that connects that rod to a metal arm that pivots when the temperature is changed on the dash.
I didnt clip it, I just stuck it up in there.

Look for that under the drivers side dash.
It was summerish when I last touched the car. I didnt need the car to be blowing 90 degree heat in the summer.
I just stuck it up in there while I was driving because I was getting really warm. For the heater to function correctly, you will have to get a replacement clip.

I switched to Brad Penn and my oil pressure went up and no more oil leaks. Use to be a big advocate or M-1, not anymore.
Also, don't change your oil every 3k, that is the new "no-no". Most oils don't reach their peak in lube effeciency until 4 to 5k. Would that be why new cars don't want you changing the oil till much later? Duh!

Both of my 86 951s have those clips in there that hold that rod in place. (referring to picture above) Vacuum may be what moves that rod, I honestly don't know, I just know that the position the arm and that rod are in dictates hot or cold air blowing out the vents. Normally when a clip breaks it fails to hot air, unless someone has pushed/positioned it to blow cold as mentioned above.
