Well I should be hearing from the insurance adjuster any time now. With any luck, the damage won't be that bad.........relatively speaking. Boy I hope the frame's not too bent.

I loved that car's interior. We'll see what happens. I can do most of the repair work myself, so that might be something. Also, the passenger door appears unscathed.

It looks like I'd need:

--Both front fenders
--Hood
--Right rear quarter
--Front fascia
--Header panel
--Headlight assy
--Replacement wheel
--Strut (koni yellows with 250 lb spring)
--Control arm + ball joint (Rennbay track kit)
--951S front sway bar
--power steering pump and rack assy
--undertrays? Hey this would be a good time to get Patrick's new splitter
--Wheel well (the plastic liner)
--bumper shock?
--Radiator? Hope not, it was brandfrigginnew
--Intercooler? Again -- hope not.
--Oil cooler (time to upgrade to RX-7 unit)
--repair brake ducts (I had made them out of fiberglass to accept actual hose)
--Uprights/brake rotor + all associated parts
--Side running lights
--Repaint the whole car...

If you can think of anything else let me know...

It's definitely gotta be totalled, but right now I have to remain optimistic. **** truly is hitting the fan in my life at the moment lol.

Collin, see this for sale thread. Want to make a road trip to Ohio? It is a good shell from an 88.

We'll see what the result of the claims is. The value guy will most likely be coming over to check it out on Monday; we'll see what he has to say. My first hope is obviously that it's not totaled. Barring that, we'll see.

Thanks for the link Sean -- I'll be keeping y'all posted.

Jeez man... that really sucks. It looked fantastic (and how did you get that fiber glass nose panel to fit so well? Mine can't even sit right..) and I hope you repair it.

I have seen a lot worse repaired. I work right next to a body shop and I have seen some cars that looked like they got hit by a train come out looking like new. Good luck man! I also have a stock intercooler for sale too. Let me know and I can help you out.
