Paid my dues, took about 8 hrs to remove all the black rubber coating on the floor board. I scraped w/ 3M adhesive the first couple hours, then did some research, seemed like alot of different ways. I decided to go with heat gun method. i picked up one, and what a difference it made. I still have a bit of glue residue to remove, before painting. It is amazing the weight of all that materal plus carpet. Curious what the weight is of the carpet and other materials under it.

Not really sure,

Since it is charcaol grey, I may go with a light grey, which would be easier to maintain then white.

I am hoping to ordera rollgage next week, which will be black, as will be the dash, which will be aluminum. Having made at local sheetmetal shop or welding shop.

I plan to use stock cluster with some aftermarket gauges.

By the way I bought those wheels. Waiting for the guy to respond with Paypal address.

Anyone know of a good divorce lawyer or a company that makes a couch that's comfortable to sleep on? Otherwise I may have to move into Terry's shop. Don't worry I'll sleep next to the cat, LOL.

LOL, I just checked the email....!?!?!

Were the offsets right...?

Darned, I'd offer you something for those twists to use as track beaters but they won't fit....!

Maybe Steve-o is looking for some track wheels...?

20mm rears and 25mm fronts. I hope they fit other wise "my *** is grass and Heather is the lawnmower." He offered me a set of "nearly new" off brand tires (Tire sizes are 235-45 and 255-45 with with LOTS of tread, they are Proline Rage tires) with them for another $100. Would either of you want the tires for the same $?

Terry. That is as far as I got, fiqured it was a good place to stop, plus had to pick up something for my dauter. I plan over the week and next weekend to finish. Hopefully we can start to paint soon after that.

Scott. I think you will be happy with those. Dont tell your wife, I found them for you. Even though we have not met yet, not a good place to start. Blame it on T.

Well, I only thought I paid my dues, removing the rubber matting and adhesive pads. I went over the leftover adhesive in the previous photos. It took every chemical I threw at it and still put up a fight. That stuff is nasty. Finally got it.
