Default How do I hook up the manual boost controller

I am wondering how to hook up a Lindsey Racing Manual Boost Controller. I have a stock wastegate. I want to know how to hook it up. I have a MAF air intake. For the stock boost controller thing, there are three lines going to it. One from the wastegate to it and one from the MAF air intake and one from the intercooler pipe. The Lindsey racing manual boost controller only uses two lines. One from the wastegate to the controller and one from the intercooler pipe. What do you do with the one that comes from the MAF air intake? Also, the stock ststem uses two metal pipes for the two vacuum hoses that go to the stock boost thing and there is another bigger pipe connected to the smaller two that goes from the air intake to the black plastic oil thing that the fill neck connects to. Is there a way to delete that or do I use that for new boost controller or what?
here is some pictures.

You remove the CV completely and block off any unused ports to your MAF pipe.

Plug the J-boot. Do your aftermarket chips support a MBC or do they rely on the cyclic valve?

The cyclic valve is the brown plastic "piece that you broke"

the "metal pipe stuff" is more commonly referred to as the venturi. It's also commonly known as a good idea to delete the venturi because it cleans things up and simplifies the vacuum system a little more. Lindsey Racing sells a kit that has everything you need to delete it or you can get all the hoses together that you need to delete it on your own.

I thought if you are lucky enough to have a dual port as you are the black thing wich appears to be a regulator is feed's to the lower port .and an strait line into the top
it will put some pressure in the spring side of the chamber assisting the spring so the boost signal will need to be stronger to overcome the spring .
Also i would think it a far more elegant solution to just change the preload spring in a fancy gate like that

Be careful using the LR boost controller with a stock wastegate. Its very hard to dial the boost controller in and it is extremely sensitive to changes. I was also getting serious boost creep issues in higher gears before i put a dual port in.

The best option is to get a dual port wastegate or get a ball and spring type boost controller if you keep the stock wastegate.

yeh its not really how a reg like that is designed to work so i can imagine how it would get tricky .with a standard gate i would feel more comfortable with the the reg teed off and vented
