Wouldn't it be better to sell the project car at this point? It's just a distraction and will burn up money in the move.

I don't know if you are aware that the project car is not just a project car. That car was the famous RolexJN car who was stolen by the infamous turby aka Morgan Keper. At first Brian he wanted to let go of the car and I had dibbs on it, but you guys know that if I had taken the project it was going to end just as turby planned except that I was going to part it legally. I suggested Brian against my will and wallet to continue the project since it means a lot to a lot of people and it has cost him more than money, but time, tears just as it happen to RolexNJ.
Sure but if the guy needs a daily driver and a job, seems to me the smart play is to get to Cali and buy a decent pickup or wagon or small SUV, load that up with the stuff, and get back home. Spending a couple grand relocating a project car? A car that could be sold for a stake I could live off of for six months?
A project car in a time like this is just an anchor dragging you down.

You made the right decision to be with your father, she is obviously no the right woman to be with you through thick and thin. This sounds like a really hard time in your life but you'll get through it. PP on the way, I hope it helps and you keep that beautiful car that you've worked so hard on.
