i sometimes wonder about a 3rd engine mount in the middle of a strut brace to rduce twisting of the drive chain . I also consider putting a load cell in an engine mount for tuning purposes

IMO the trans should have been mounted like it is on my 914 with two mounting tabs at the rear with fairly dense rubber to abosrb vibration but not allow excessive movement.

I would like to see a transmission stabilizer that attaches like this but using billet mounts...





...and with rose joints at both ends...



...and a vibration damper in the middle like this...
