Looking at maybe buying a 968, but it has the backseats replaced with a speaker box. I have a set of 951 backseats, will they fit?

True, but would be a buying incentive, and maybe a bargaining tool, if I had the seats already.

They should fit without any problems. The only issues I can see are that some 968's had the split back rear seat, and then some had a split back but part of the bottom bucket was carpeted and only had butt cushions. Either way though I don't see it has being a real issue, just something to keep in mind. Is there anything left of the old back seat or was everything removed for the speaker box?

Pretty sure they dont have the seat anymore. Waiting for a response back, on that specific question.

This interior is black, and i still have a near perfect interior in my smashed 951. My new 951 should be here Tues. I plan on using most of my extra 951 stuff to turbo a 968, want to do almost stock 968 ts. I would make a few mechanical enhancements, but cosmetically 100% same. With all the extra parts, I figure after selling/trading some of them, I could do the conversion for virtually no cost. With a little help from my friends, and the right tools, I think i could DIY the conversion. Im gonna have to compile a list of every part needed in the next few weeks, to start getting things in order. I was thinking I could do a pictorial, and a full write-up, step by step. If memory serves, Im thinkn there are a couple floating around rennlist, Ive always found these kind of DIY write-ups around the web very useful over the years, and would like to contribute one.
