Well - not sure how not knowing any better justifies impossible hp claims. He could have just left that part out.
Set - Local dyno shop
Characters: Dyno operator, new 944 turbo owner
Dyno Operator: Here you go sir - 300 rwhp (if he is lucky).
New 944 owner: No worries. The seller claimed 400 rwhp but since the previous owner of the car just passed away I am not angry. I do not feel defauded. At least until I find out the 3 year old PAIN job was done at Macco.
Dyno Operator: Hmm - ah yeah - that will be $75 for the run - good luck.

I agree completely. Mis representation is mis representation.
Its wrong and everyone who knows anything about 951's is going to know that. Hopefully we don't have a rookie/non lister buying that car.

Not to be argumentative (and I consider you a buddy John) but I've had three 951s over the last 8 years and it hasn't been but for the last year that I have gained a good understanding of what mods it takes to reach 300 or 400hp. Maybe that is why according to our pal MrPorsche that I am still driving an $8k 22 yr old car at 31
