Default Mechanical oil Pressure gauge

I have a full blown 951 race car and gutted tub - so access and plumbing is not hard

I want to get away from the stock dash and start developing what I need for the track

That is awesome. You are cool. Race cars rock. Comments are neato. Oil pressure gauges are my favorite.

http://www.egauges.com/ should have everything you need including the hard to find metric/NPT adapters.

Check with www.autosportfl.com if you need dash options. They have a very nice fitting dash piece. We also need pics of your car!!!

Default Autometer Guages

I have a complete set of guages from 944 Turbo race car I'm parting out. The autometer guages are easy to read and the package has two oil temp guages- one at the oil pan and one at the exit to the oil cooler so you can see your effective cooling effort. This is also good where you have essentially removed your factory wiring if you have installed an aftermarket engine management computer as you need to make up a new engine harness anyway. Custom guages also allows the removal of the factory dash so you are free to weld in a roll cage next to and tie into the A pillars, plus it allows the easy attachment of a right side head net (see ratchet strap in picture) as most racing sanctioning bodies are adding this requirement.
I'm willing to sell for around 50% of list price for the guages and switches only, fabrication and wiring included.

John

That's weird. Your boost gauge only goes to 20?

This is a RACE car so it lives at full throttle much of the time. This car's engine makes 419 RWHP with 16lbs boost running 110 Leaded fuel. I build, maintain, finance and drive my own cars and I find that 400HP is about the limit for a reasonable maintenance schedule and the use of mainly Porsche sourced parts. My cup car runs at one bar boost and has run 3.5 years on the track with only basic maintenance; rod bearings are due this winter however.
