That's what I was reffering to when I mentioned increased pad surface area.

The pad surface area isn't too much greater because of the different rotor... the biggest difference is rotor thickness. I'm not saying you are wrong or anything, just pointing that out.

Took two hours to identify and cut the proper wires. Unclipped the DME, and KLR. One vacuum line to go, then installing the 996 DME tomorrow

I'm not taking anything wrong, don't worry. I just remember reading about this exact subject and it taught me a few things.

The difference in size between the two is pretty big. S4 caliper pad surface area is 112.5cm2 and big black/red (same caliper) are 151 cm2. The advantages are not all in the rotor.

What an interesting, sad, train wreck, I-can’t-put-it-down-page-turner this thread is. Dang! Facebook debacle, cash waiving photos, Rolexes and bank account boasting, 140 mph on the street, “chicks” dig him and his poser car, WOW!

So, MrDouchebag951, I hereby retract my acceptance of your "apology" as it is evident that you were not sincere and just attempting to f--- with the ‘listers here. You are a POS and I look forward to buying a hamburger from you someday, as you complete you life’s work behind a fast food counter. Or perhaps I’ll have the occasion to stumble over you as you lie on your steam grate/home/cardboard box in NYC, which will be all you can afford after the last of countless employers terminate you as a result of your ethically challenged and morally corrupt nature, which will certainly get in the way of any short term successes you might enjoy. I’d save that mythical “$100K” because Karma is going to kick your *** someday!

What is the stock area? IIRC it's like 90cm2 right?
