Here's a Red Group run session running the 951 V8 with the POC STS #5 at WSIR Streets of Willow Clockwise with bowl.
Best lap time of 1:22.89 on 103F ambient temp day.
168mb but it's nice video.
Save link and view after downloading.

Who needs Thaibo? Ha that looks like such a workout. Really not suited to your car but then again having the tq out of all those little pesky corners can't hurt. Sort of looks like a big DE. Actually looks a very choppy track and hard on brakes and tyres even though you can't get to any great speed. Good going Tony.
The one thing about all those desert courses is if you come off there is nothing to hit and hurt which is nice.
ps what's that steering wheel? Looks suspiciously like a stock wheel...

The 911 I was following is a very fast light weight POC race car with the POC chief driving instructor driving the car who is a great driver (in case you were wondering why I couldn't catch him...). Oh... and he did spin in front of me entering the straight :-)
The average speed is between 60mph and 100mph, going down to a low of maybe 45mph and a high of 120mph.
It's not as easy to drive fast on as it might appear as there is a huge tight semi-high bank bowl right hand turn which loads the car big time and a very fast (110+mph) high speed straight that enters into a 100% blind chicane, and a lot of flat turns.
It's definitely a challenge to drive fast due to the diversity of the track.

The track is much faster than it looks.

I've dialed out as much push as I can. Any more, and the car oversteers too much on the faster turns. The problem is weight.
That day I ran a 1.22:89, which on a 103+F day is a very fast lap time on that track. If the weather is cooler, I can get down to the very low 1:22's.
The POC track record for that track (which was set by the 911 in front of me the first few laps of the video... but not on that day) is a 1.20.59. And that's a full-tilt super light race car running slicks.
I'm running enough to be street legal, with an interior, drive to and from the track, and use R compound tires.
Big difference between that car and mine.
