I agree completely. My friends have been riding for over 10 years so I use them as a comparison. I can often beat much faster bikes that I meet on the street but that is because of the rider. Most bikers who try to drag race against cars on the street, don't have a clue how to ride thier bike. it goes with the territory. With a decent rider on that same bike, I wouldn't stand a chance.

What I really love most are the riders of piece of junk american (Harley) bikes that are louder and leak more oil then my 951 that try to race. Apperently this causes them to think thier annoying overweight bikes are somehow faster. It really puts them in there place when they follow me into a gas station afterward and I show them on my AVC-R peak function that I never went over 70% throttle.....not that this ever happened simulated of course.

You can do that all you want, I never have, and never will mess with a bike. It's one thing to play around when you have 1.5 tons of steel around you, its another when you have a 1/8 thick piece of leather.

I don't even follow bikes close, all it takes is one small thing and they are on the ground in front of your car.

I've seen a brand new RR bike (cousins) take off in 3rd at 70mph, to 140ish. It didnt take very long...and I can tell you...your mod list wouldn't even begin to close the gap. Sure, I was still relatively "in his site", but nothing to even let him worry.

Have also seen a dyno'd 387whp eg civic hatch (2300~ lbs) LOSE to a R6 all the way to 140. Not just lose, he got spanked.

Their power:weight and gear lengths in 1-3 kill almost every car on the road. They have 1 shift to hit 100 (some), and those are considerably faster then your 2 shifts.

Come on John, it's easy when you're racing one geared to top out at ~150. That's like me racing a Ducati in the M5 the other day, except he was geared to stop at 152 so I guess I "won"

But no, seriously, if you want to go race modern 600's lighten the car, get oh, around 500whp and pray like hell. Forget even going after the liter bikes, I've got 60-130 charts on a ZX10 and an R1 with +1 gearsets and the numbers are close to 5 seconds flat. The ZX10 was sub 10 sec and trapped over 150 in the 1/4 (damn good rider).

Funny how the simulated panty dropper rules change when the simulator gets married.

I never raced a sports bike or any bike for that matter in a my 951 before but have always like riding a motorcycle. I have over 10 years experience riding and just bought a R6 this summer as a new fun toy. Before I use to have bigger bikes for cruising but have always wanted an R6. I was totally shocked how FAST even just an R6 is. Just over 100 RWHP on a bike that weights 360 dry is stock form is quick. When I went to this bike it is a totally different beast then what I am use to, so I had to adjust how I ride. Going fast in a straight line on sports bike is much different then in a car, so experience is required for the rider. Even now, I have a hard time giving more then 80% throttle in first and full throttle in 2nd and keeping the front end down.

You can say all you want, but guaranteed the rider on the bike is having wayyyyyy more fun then you in your 20 yo 944. And where the 944 probably won't start the next day, the bike always runs, lol.

from a 100mph roll my roommates 2001 gsxr 750 w/ a power commander only pulls about 2-3 cars on me. We have done this race many times and its always the same results he creeps about 2-3 car lengths up and then stays there.

My friends 650hp rx7 has only been beaten by one bike from a 100mph roll and that was a hyabusa with nitrous. It's all about going from 100+

I' sorry, but 2-3 from 100 roll? I'm guessing his bike is in 3rd, your car in 4th. I'd love to hear your mod list before I comment anymore on yours.

As far as the rx7, I can believe that. That's mid 500whp in a semi-light car. The 'busa is extremely fast, and is very much so all the way up to 180...where most bikes are only dreaming of hitting. I know my cousins RR has about 20-25 mph left in 4,5,6 gears all together (roughly 170 topped). The busa is still pulling, even with spray.

But seriously? Who races from 100 on? I have no problem racing, so long as I started UNDER the posted speed. But when you START the race, ALREADY doing 30 over? What use? Who seriously races from 100-150? Try racing your buddy from 60. Lmao...that 2-3 cars will be 2-3 busses BY 100.
