I was at Autozone the other day buying Kendall GT1 SL oil and just out of curiosity I took a look at the back of the orange Autozone brand oil. I was suprised to see it wasn't SM rated oil, it's SL. Not that I would ever use this stuff in a Porsche but it may be something cheap that's good to use in my older american winter beaters.
Anyone know who actually blends this Autozone brand oil? I'm changing the oil in my '94 Ford Taurus soon and this car gets only the cheapest of the cheap parts so I'm considering using this Autozone oil in that.
Again, I wouldn't use this in my 951 but they do have a 20w50 SL oil so wondering if anyone knows anything about this stuff.

Ehh - I bought some O'Reilly's brand oil and it smelled so bad that I didn't use it.
It smelled somewhat like 50,000 mile old transmission fluid.
