Default brembo rotors

I was looking for rotors and seen these pretty cheap,
http://www.car-stuff.com/carparts/po...-16136511.html They say it fits an 86 turbo and na but pelican has them listed seperately. I don't think it's right but it couldn't hurt to get a second opinion. Has anybody used brembo rotors? They can't be too bad

You are kidding, right? Brembro are world reknown in the racing community and in production cars as well. I've never used them on 944Ts, but have on various street and racing cars.

When I ran a Euro repair shop, Brembo rotors were some of the best. I used them whenever the customer would pay a few extra bucks for em.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I seem to remember reading that our stock calipers are brembo. Brembo is one of the biggest names in performance brake products. So yeah, they're good.

Will they fit though? On that site they say an 86 na and turbo are the same, but on pelican (who sells another brand) the na and turbo are different parts.

It says they're front rotors, and I believe the front rotors are the same size on both the turbo and the na. The rears however are different IIRC.

Yes I concur - the NA and turbo rotors for 86 ARE NOT the same

86 turbo - single year, turbo model only rotor

I have an 86 Turbo. My PO has said that the brakes were converted to the Turbo S brakes. Are the calipers the same? the rotors are bigger though right? I know they are Brembo Porsche calipers. Maybe a bigger brake booster? Whats the difference?

Bigger calipers, bigger rotors, bigger pads, bigger brake booster, bigger master cylinder. Much higher unsprung weight for your poor weak little '86 front wheel bearings. To work properly, the proportioning valve should also be changed to a 5/33.

As already mentioned, its a 968 rear spoiler. Its actually a replica wing made by the now defunct 944Racing.
