Default fuel injector fitment

Starting on one side of the fuel rail the injector fits deep into the manifold, then each one after that sticks out a little further than the last. Is that normal or is the rail not sitting right?

Probably not seating correctly. I find its better to seat the injectors in the rail first, then secure the rail to the intake manifold / cam tower.

Check the four mounting bolts, sounds like it is not bolted down correctly. Maybe something is blocking it from going into position.

I usually seat the injectors in the rail, then slowly tighten the bolts that hold it to the head to pull the injectors into the manifold.

Put a little automatic transmission fluid on the o-rings so they will slide into their ports without hangind up. I put the rail in place and make sure each injector is seated in their ports before tightening the bolts.

Have noticed that too. Anyone know why it is like that?
