Default Electrical load affecting guages

I know this has been covered in the past but cant seem to find the posts via search...

So I dont drive much at night but did last weekend and noticed that when I turned the lights on my temp guage immediately went up a few clicks. I know this is a symptom for a known problem but cant recall what thread I read about it in.

Can someone refresh my memory :-)

Thanks!

Bad grounds, youll want to go through and clean all the ground points. Theres one or two behind the gauge cluster that should help when you clean them up.

There are also grounds on the frame rails by the headlights. Be sure to clean these as well.
The one on top of the clutch bellhousing is the most difficult to reach.
